Welcome back to Ink-Corrigible, where the author is fine, everything is fine, and the buttons in my assistant app have been moved again.
The App That Rearranges Itself
This week my assistant app changed how it works roughly nine times. I would sit down each morning and find the furniture moved, like a roommate who redecorates in the dark. By Wednesday I was negotiating with a menu. The menu won. Some weeks the work is the work, and some weeks the work is figuring out where they put the work. I survived, a little more tired and a lot more suspicious of the word “update.”
Tuesday, October 6: The Book
After editing, re-editing, and re-re-editing (the commas had started multiplying overnight), the final manuscript is done, the covers are done, and the book lands Tuesday, October 6. It will be available on Amazon in hardcover and large print that day, and the paperback follows on October 8. I may narrate launch day like a nature documentary. “Here we see the author, refreshing a page.”

Now Playing on YouTube
We opened a YouTube channel. It’s full of video shorts about everything I’m publishing and everything coming up, including a video for the book drop. Think of it as the trailer department I never knew I needed, staffed entirely by me and a great deal of optimism. Watch the channel here.

Welcome to this week’s rant, brought to you by the letters A and G, my rapidly dwindling patience, a very crowded name, and a whole lot of paperwork.
